I
came to the field of psychotherapy after an engaging twenty-year
career in the publishing industry.
Working as a photographer and picture
producer, my work was influenced by the deeper complexity of the
human experience. As my job expanded to managing and motivating
creative teams, my interest in what makes relationships work was
galvanized.
As a psychotherapist, I find my desire to
understand the inner world of those with whom I work immensely
rewarding. I bring an aliveness to this work through my deep
connection with horses, my passion as an amateur jazz pianist and my
avocation as a sailor and sailing instructor.
I bring my enduring belief in the curative
potential of relationships from my experience as a big sister in the
BS/BB program for 20 years and continue to volunteer as a mentor in
capacities related to kids.
My diversity of interests combined with an
endless curiosity, allows me to help my clients with aspects of
their difficulties that are not always readily accessible, and
thereby gain a deeper and more meaningful connection with themselves
and others.
